Think I prefer welding to be honest lol, I've spent ages on the wiring and it looks like I'm doing nothing but new gauges are wired in, also the headlight, wiper motor, ignition and a couple of extra switch's now mounted properly in the dash & loom is all tided up under the dash, now ready to be wrapped with cloth loom tape, After I run a couple of wires for the air ride stuff, put the pressure gauge by the column to tested out the air ride solenoid unit today and the remote control has a decent range, I have acquired a bit of ally chequer plate for the floor in the lookers need to measure up and cut this then I can mount it all,

Those gauges look just right in there, not obviously modern or out of place

A lot better. If they are there to stay for a while, perhaps some Ali or chrome bezels to tie them in to the dash a bit better? Haven't checked in here in a while, and so much progress has happened! On the roof lights, I think 5 if that's all that's up there, but 3 or 4 could work with a couple of nice big chrome air horns

been thinking this bit through for while , The Bentley throttle linkage is way over complicated , and RHD , so had to come up with something for LHD and the fact the cab is on rubber mounts that let it move around, I made a new rod from the engine to a new L shaped bracket mounted on the passenger floor with a cable that's gonna round to a modified original ford pedal level mechanism, the L bracket has a few different mounting points built in , so I can play around with the pedal to full throttle travel if its a bit to sensitive and the cable should let the cab still move around to

Solderless nipples and Chocolate Hobnobs Here's the other end of the throttle cable mock up so far , I worked out the angle to weld the arm on tonight , the ally bracket will be remade in steel when i get it all working with a nice pedal ratio ,

I got the other 2 roof lights on and sorted the OG front side lights this evening , the throttle pedal feels alright to now also found some old style loom tube , I brought ages ago , so put that over the wires on the bulk head to see what it looked like , will hopefully give it that old skool look

Thats cool will give that a watch this week did a bit the weekend before the rugby Got the floor in the locker and mounted the compressor, ran a fat red cable from the battery for the relay to, will need to extend the wiring for the pressure sensors though as there not long enough, I have some copper tube to do hard lines inside the locker but will stick with flexi stuff for the rest as its a lot easier to fix out on the road if stuff leaks or goes wrong ,

ran the wires last night for the relay and stuff for the compressor Wiring needs trimming back and tidying still but it works , still need to extend the pressure gauge wires though but need to find the right cable and had to mount it to see how long they need to be to start with, Also ran the rest of the wires through the bulkhead to , That's the feed for the Rad fan relay, Vacuum pump for the brakes, airhorn & brake switch, and 2 spares for now, maybe one for the fuel pump but think the ECU has a feed for that and a relay already there in the engine loom , feel like I'm getting somewhere with it now , February just seemed to go with not a lot of progress, well not visual anyways, Hopefully get a good month on it this month and get on with getting it running and steering sorted and I still need to take it all apart to paint it , those shows are getting closer....

Manged to roll her outside today , first time in a while, good chance to sweep the workshop floor to, then marked up the rear chassis notches , the chassis has been strengthened in the past with 1'4 plate on top and inside the rails took some cutting !! then had to trim the bed side to, I've got some 6mm notched plate I made before to stick on there to later, but next up I think I'm gonna start on the fuel tank

The back sits a bit lower now maybe get it down a but more , but thinking anymore and I will have to start moving the inner tub up again and that will make it a pain to load the Z on. also welded the v-band on the box and got that on so I can mark where to put the new lobster end I made on square and get the mounts in the right place, and made some copper rings to finish the holes I cut .
