Great project love what your doing.
Have you tested the steering for bump steer? The rack looks like it should be mounted 4 inches higher than in the pic. on page 9 ( parallel with the lower wishbone would be in the ball park )

The rack looks like it should be mounted 4 inches higher than in the pic. on page 9 ( parallel with the lower wishbone would be in the ball park ) thanks dude , yeah it had shed loads on full drop , the rack is tucked up as far as it can go and in between the sump and exhaust cross over pipe, about 3"'s down from where it needs to be , I forgot to put pics of these up before I made a pair of these for now and replaced the tie rods with motor sport quality rose joints , effectively a extra long track rod end to cheat the rack back in the right place and bump steer is now pretty much gone I have been looking at some other solutions to though just in case

cut a big hole in the side of the bed and made a locker door this arvo breaks up the big long side and make it look a but better i reckon , will get on with building the locker floor tomorrow and maybe cut the other one out to . I liked the straight smooth sides aesthetically, however, if you know me, I love function over form too. So creating space you will be guaranteed to use, and to add some of that “wow, I never knew they built a locker bed for these” to it, makes it more interesting by a mile. Your finishes and design also makes the work you do, look like it was always there. Of course, now you need to add a small safe to the side of the storage box, with a canted face, that you can leave your keys, documents and wallet in, maybe hidden behind a combination lock or something. Mechanical keyless access designed to be retrofitted or installed on new cabinets. Code change can be done while on door. Suitable for lockers, cabinets and cupboards.

That's an awsome idea Grizz ! I could put my stuff in it when I go for a surf so I don't need to take any keys in the water with me . I didn't cut the other locker today but manage to work out the floor brackets and get them all in and make the mounts for the air tank and running board Good thing with working all this out is the other side should be a lot quicker hopefully lol I will have a curly air line and tyre blow up thingy in the locker to so I can pump up tyres etc to from the on board air tank , there's also a Schrader valve in one of the ports , So if the pump fails I can stop in a garage and fill the tank or even use a foot pump to get me out of the preferable

2 down . I'm thinking it looks a lot better with those in the long bed side , breaks it all up a bit, I think up next is the rear panel under the tailgate need to make a nice recess in it for the number plate and make it so it bolted in , I've got an idea for the reverse light and stuff to, maybe cut a bit off the length of the sides out back also, but really need to get it out so I can get a good eye on it first .

Got the steel bits painted and all together, need to get some better bolts, prob stainless button heads to finish it off properly, see if I can get it mounted in place today, I ordered some Iveco handbrake cables for the rear but will have to make up the middle section , thinking of doing a rod through the chassis in front of the rear axle that pulls the cables for the rear callipers with the one cable going to the handbrake mech then Trimmed the bumped plates i did to size and tacked them all on to make the raised sections on the running boards. they line up pretty nice , Also my mate called round, so didn't get much more done apart from lots of talking about stuff and tea drinking . He did like the truck though , which is a big deal to me. He's has been building rods since the 70's and a bit of a legend round here

Obviously the complete vehicle, has gone through numerous alterations from that, which the manufacturers came up with. Due to your changes, do you have to go through any form of inspection, prior to going on the road, and is it also subject to any form of MOT, etc...?
