I 1st saw this car on Instagram earlier this year. I follow a guy who does some drifting & he had bought it as a daily. I casually enquired if he would sell it & as it happens he needed a more practical 'daily'. So after some negotiation, many pics & a walk round video I sent him a deposit. A few days later & a 4hr drive to Halifax I was the new owner of this very standard but clean skyline. The car was imported in November 2018 & I bought it in February. So the 1st job when I got it home was a full valet by a mate who runs his own detailing business.   |

I plan on schutz undersealing the car as I pull it apart for chassis mods later on in the build. 1st job on the list was to bin out the standard brakes & change the disks & calipers from a gtst. I bought a cheap pair locally & stripped,cleaned & rebuilt them with a seal kit. Fitted them up with braided brake lines.   I then ordered a set of genuine work wheels from driftworks along with front & rear camber arms & a set of hsd damper adjustable coilovers.  |

After a while I wanted to freshen up the front so I bought nismo clear wing & front bumper indicators.   I also removed the poorly proportioned rear spoiler, the over sized boot script & the wind deflectors.  Finally I fitted a sun strip with some vinyl in work & made the 'work wheels' text.  |

I've done a few things to the interior & fitted an hks mushroom filter & adapter in the engine bay but nothing amazing. Last week I ordered these.....  To go with this lot......  |

I've decided to keep the car na as I've done turbo cars to death. However I'm going down a different route. On the skyline gtr rb26dett engine they run itb's with a front face plenum. I've bought an adapter plate from Japan to fit the rb26 manifold on my rb25 engine. I can then fit the manifold & itb's. I've purchased a trumpet but the size on the throttle body stud centres is 69/70mm & most trumpets seem to be 65mm so I'll need to modify to fit. I'm going to reconfigure all the linkage as the tps housing & throttle housing normally mounts on the plenum which I'm not using. I intend on building a bracket to house that underneath the throttle bodies so I have a clear view of the trumpets. I'll also need a different ECU for mapping so I'm hoping to see a guy on Monday about link management. 1st job is to try & source an na stainless exhaust manifold but I cant find one in this country. Currently I'm in talks with caged laser to see if they can help. If anyone has any info on sourcing trumpets with a 45mm bore & 70mm stud centres & between 50 & 100mm please PM me.   |

I bought a new brake set up today, Kind of by accident. I intended on buying 300zx alloy calipers from a local guy but in his garage he had this set up from an old track car.  300zx turbo rear brake set up & D2 8 pot calipers with 356mm disks. They all need a clean & refurb but I enjoy that stuff. |

Refurbed all my brakes. Stripped & cleaned all the parts. Deoxed everything & bought new pads all round.  |
