Decided today it would be stupid to go this far & not remove the head, so.....  The head was super clean & the valves weren't cooked up at all. Looking into the bores & seeing cross hatchings makes me believe this engine was rebuilt before the car was imported by my mate who I bought the engine from. Also looking at the crankshaft & conrod journals I'd say they have all been balanced. Does that mean this engine could have been blue printed?   |

Stripped the cylinder head & dropped it off at DY engineering to be bead blasted & have a snapped coil pack stud removed.   Finally took the plunge on a job I've been putting off for a while. I've watched countless YouTube videos of the right way & the wrong way but I've finally rolled the rear arches to clear my 10.5j wheels. This gives me the opportunity to dial out some of the 6 degree camber.   I don't like big clunky door locks so I ordered a pair of rear door handles from Garage D who specialise in jdm parts. I've swapped out the passenger side front door handle but need a new central locking alarm fitted before I can fit the drivers side.   |

Finished off a few jobs & got the car up & running. Took the car for an mot & alignment at fcm motorsport which is local to me. Really pleased as she went straight through & not guy reckoned the chassis was mint. Also had alignment set so now the car doesn't try & kill me when I drive her.     |
