- get yourself the cartridge type seam sealer that goes in a skeleton gun - (low modulus / MS type - NOT PU / Tigerseal or Skiflex) Grumpy, Do you have a particular brand / type you prefer? I'll be need some of this soon. Cheers.
I do but its a Kent Europe product which is trade account only ordering - just had quick search and Tetrosyl do a similar product which is a low modulus MS type - these take longer to dry but give a more workable result and can be brushed in to replicate a factory seam if required - the PU seam sealers are difficult to work and tend to not flow or brush out neatly further to this it's difficult stuff to keep once you have opened the cartridge - so if you only use a part cartridge - its a bit of a bind to make reusable / use again at a later date - link to the Tetrosyl product that I found below www.amazon.co.uk/CSS310-Tetrosyl-Cartridge-Sealer-310ml/dp/B009LHDA3W

Just a quick one chaps - I would highly recommend that you put a quick squirt of primer over any welded / bare metal areas before you apply the seam sealer

Yes - so long has you have left the sealer long enough to cure - paint over sealer that has not cured and it cracks the surface of the paint open
