Paintwork slowly coming back Sorry Dan, but had to quote both posts to keep them together and on their own page.
Dan, Good to chat earlier. What do you use to remove the glue on the rear door from the original sign writing? I would have used real mineral turpentine on an old T-shirt with repeated wet applications nd gentle scrubbing in the olden days. However, not sure we are allowed to have real turps now, just white spirit afaik. Looking good so far, from Mingin’ to Majestic.

Most of Europe got a rear window/5 seater version of these.
Always thought it would be fun to swap most of the parts from a 1.8 sri Corsa into one

I don't know if its the same by you Dan, but vans of any sort in road going or good nick are like gold dust up here, parcel drivers can't get them anywhere, all the rental firms have run out, could be onto a winner there

Yeah the combo if it was properly tidy inside would fetch really good money atm. Seem to be about double what they were last year.

I don't know why but I think they're cool without trying to work out if they are retro or not. Blink and they'll be gone.

Parts are nice and cheap for these, found a set of sxi alloys and red front bumper for £140 for both lol
Another £60 for a set of nice seats & £30 for leather steering wheel, bargain.

Looking at what they are selling for it's probably a good idea, seem to be going for £1500-£2200.
I'd struggle not to change a few bits though lol

Just to add, if it can go up for sale by next week it will probably go really quick as Amazon will be getting loads of extra people delivering.
We have been getting parcels delivered by people in brand new merc, nissan jukes & all sorts - usually husband and wife teams!

There's a guy at our place using his wife's 69 plate Mercedes A Class, in the wilds of Snowdonia where tarmac isn't always covering the road, its gotten that bad
