Hi guys and girls. Let me present to You my new Project. Ehmm. Technically it is mine, but practically it is on the other side of the world right now. More specific in US, New Mexico city Santa Fe. So while I am waiting to deliver it. Here is the sneak peak.   Ok. This is how it will look after some veeeery loooong time.  Here it is:  Produced in 1964 Volvo 1800S. Born as Pearl White with red interior. Crying for me. So in my Christmas soft heart madness I went on ebay and bid on it. And now its is mine. All mine. Ms rough beauty. |

Still waiting fro shipper to pick it up. Meanwhile seller drop some more goodies (needed garbage. ) into the car. Seats - at least I will have a frames to work with.      |

Finally after month of jumping emails back and forth, car has been picked up by the shipping company. Now it is heading to Huston port to be put into container.

Exciting news, any idea of an arrival date? Not yet. I assume it will arrive at Huston somewhere on Thursday. And from there when they will load it into container I have no idea. It was said that pickup will take 5-10 days - it was 1 month after chasing calling and mailing. Therefore I am not putting bets on this either. I assume month or two from now I will be able to see it. |

Hi bjornagn. So you are detective? thanks for the tips. Will definitely look into your links. And yes. Now it is waiting time....... still...... waiting...... schhhhhhhh. Where is it!!!!!!!!!!!! O yes. Now it is in Huston. After one month it has been moved for 800 miles. So with that speed I will get it about...... Next Christmas. Bloody hell this is so boring to sit and wait. |
