I've currently got a home fleet policy, which allows me to add cars on whenever I want up oo the collective value of 20k(this is able to be increased for a higher premium)
Anyway, this is through clegg gifford insurance Scotland. My renewal is up again in December, and I wasn't too happy with my renewal price last year, so I thought I'd see if there's anywhere else that offers a similar policies on offer else where that I can start gathering prices from or looking into...

Interesting, can i ask if they covered classic and/or modified vehicles and perhaps what it equated to per car if you don't mind sharing?

Interesting, can i ask if they covered classic and/or modified vehicles and perhaps what it equated to per car if you don't mind sharing? I'm sure about classic, as I have mine with flux for the agreed value They cover modified cars but only replace for standard parts should anything happen.. I was 3k for the year, which is expensive, but then I was only 22 when I took it out and had went through a phase of buying quite a few cars! I may try and shop around for a multicar policy and just see if I can get it cheaper now that I keep a hold of what I have, although everything I own except the Rallye is modified a fair bit, so I may still be cheaper with the fleet

Thanks, so far I havent had much success with a multi car quote, even with the supposed discount I've found that it worked out cheaper to insure each car individually with different providers (this is only on 3 cars at the moment though).

I think that’s going to be my next trial depending on what my renewal is.... see what it would be to insure each car separately or multicar

I use Reis Motorsport insurance for my fleet. reis.co.ukThe RX7 is the main car and the FTO and CL500 are the 'others'. Not sure if they need to have a sporty car as the main or whether they can insure anything. They are the most helpful insurance bunch I've ever dealt with and the prices are pretty good too. Cheers AL.

^^ What do you pay for the policy if you don't mind me asking? I pay £300 for a modified 9-5 Aero Hirsch.

Yes that's a normal policy, 37, 9 years ncd and clean licence, living in Chester, it's actually very cheap compared to most other companies.
