	Hi! Nothing major to report...runs fine! Clocked 10k on the counter since the rebuild.Fuelconsumption is 30 mpg.Oil?0,5l /5000km... Back are the summer-tires....and i washed it. Put some new Owatrol on.... The performance head is still not ready...maybe next month.. Greet and stay safe!

	That is lovely! I was familar with the regular 203 saloon, but before this thread, I didn't realise that they did an estate version.

	Guten Abend! Today i fitted the head finally! Some things like the gas-linkage and the choke needs adapting.And the exhaust was a bit tricky....the flange on the manifold is routing different But it's done now... Don't want to paint the nice aircleaner....wanted to save the maintenance decal.Looks lovely,i think! Performance is noticeable better,also there is another"growl" from the engine bay But still no car for bank-robbery Also the engine run smoother... Greet Will take some tests with the ignition timing....maybe it needs some more advance.

	Guten Tag! There is a noise from the engine,again.... Not very loud but under load it sounds like a piston rattle... So.....engine out! 1 hour 12 minutes later(!) Removed the oilpan...looks good inside.No metal chips.... Last time the engine was out the endplay of the crank was far out of the tolerance,this time it's ok. So i checked the connection rods for sideplay:Should be 0,07-0,15mm. Oh,wait!At Cyl No 3 there is 0,60mm! .How can this be? Change a rod means:Crank out. Have you ever changed a rod without remove the piston?You can't pull it out complete... Was a fiddling job to get the circlip and the piston pin out of the piston...but the job is done Here is the rod:Somebody cut the sides with a file.But why? And why i didn't notice this at the moment i build the engine? Hope this was the fault,anyway. Tomorrow i will complete the engine again. Greet
