.... so what are the chances of (lots of) us bunking work tomorrow to have a play? I'm reckoning 140bhp to the back wheels in the white stuff could be pretty entertaining!!! Can't wait! ;D ;D ;D Mind you, if it keeps coming down at this rate we'll be underneath about six foot of it by the morning.

Yeah I enjoyed a bit of donut action in the carpark on the slush! However it makes working in the garage difficult 'cos it's so cold

It's snowing in the North of Scotland, but it's not raining or snowing around here yet! It's certainly cold enough for it mind you, just it's dry out, funny, it's been raining every day for a week in Greenock until today. And the Imp agrees it's cold enough, it didn't want to start at all today! Annoying, because I can't wait to show the local neds what a rear engine does for your traction on the backroads, bloody Saxos won't know what hit them!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

You're only getting snow now? Sheesh! Exactly. We had about a week of a foot deep snow in August. I cant play in the snow though cause I live on a hill and all the car parks are on the flat, so its too dangerous to get to them It was 28° here today ;D

I hate the winter - go to work in the dark and then go home from work in the dark....! Still it could be worse, I could live at the North Pole

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

You're only getting snow now? Sheesh! North of Scotland had it months ago, but then the whole Drurmochtar area where it snowed first is well above sea level, it's bloody bleak up there in July never mind November! ;D ;D ;D We only don't get in the Glasgow area because the pollution melts it! ;D ;D

It's not a GT lump. Just a modded Mk2 1300 engine that's now about 4-5 years old. would like something modern later on, but at the moment time/cash says no Haven't had chance to clean/polish it for about 3 months....

Hate the winter but went on a great drive yesterday, clear skies, no cars around, great views and the cold air really made the car go! I love it when it snows and they say on the news "Only make essential journies" Errrrr, no! See below.... SidewaysGTM's Mini Sprite after an random 70 mile drive

Driving in snow is such great fun provided that the roads aren't blocked up by idiots who shouldn't be driving - earlier this year a few inches of snow ground most of London to a halt.... The residential / back streets were clear though, and quite fun (where safe to do so!!), until they iced up - the council only bothered to grit the main roads The Amazon is brilliant in those conditions - 15" wheels with 80 profile tyres so has plenty of tyre contact patch, combined with loads of torque - will pull cleanly in overdrive 4th from only 25mph, which is only about 1250rpm, for when I actually need to get somewhere without being silly. However, that same low down torque means plenty of wheelspin etc when required ;D Oh, and it has a brilliant heater - so good that I usually have to switch it off, or open a window
