Over the last couple of weeks I have decided I need a quick build, LOL, so. In my wisdom I have been out buying bits, and rummaging around in my bits of stock That are not being used at the moment I have started with one of these, going to add one of these, attached to one of these, sitting on a set of these, and hopefully using these

I bought a quick build motorbike project in November.....it's still nowhere near done despite spending quite a lot of time in the garage. Hopefully this will be on the road in time for the summer. Great project. Good luck with it.

This has potential. Especially if you leave the body as-is.

Awesome. I really wanted a van for my first car but ended up with an 2 door A35. A30 Van must be a really rare thing thsese days! That looks like a really solid old beast. Look forward to seeing this progress.

I need to have a real good look at the van this week, bodily the thing has had a great deal of welding done, and done to a superb standard , much of the external panels have been welded and metal finished with minimum work to get to a paintable finish, that is, if I paint it, patina is good, but there is a lot of it that is faux, drivers side wing needs changing as its a car wing not a van wing, I do have the original wing but it will needs a repair, It also looks like it was converted, at one time to a window van/countryman, and not letting the standard down, the whole side panel has been replaced, being unstiched from the gutter and the belt line, lovely work too, My only point of concern, probably unfounded looking at the quality of the work is the real door, which has not been fitted, with the final welding needing to be completed in this area, lets hope it was not a alignment problem that stopped the final welding. And far too many spare parts for my needs, I have emptied my estate car resulting in my kitchen being FULL Takeaways for the next week I still have the van to empty, also, there is a transit running around the south east with engines, axles, props gearboxes, once sorted, EBAY is going to be busy

Is it wrong to think of Wallace and Gromit? Looks a great project, what are the wheels (size?)

Is it wrong to think of Wallace and Gromit? Looks a great project, what are the wheels (size?) Unfortunately. the Wallace and Gromit bit has stuck, Which could be a reason that the patina might go.... The wheels are Compomotive TH, normally they are white or Silver, these are Cream/Old English white, A much better colour for the car. size is 8x15 which fit on the back, might some slightly narrower on the front, this specific version of the TH is quite rare, so it may be a case of having the fronts narrowed. (Yes they can be done)
