twice?? has it??
I'm doing a few jobs on it at the mo, as retro as the panasonic stereo (gasp!) tapedeck and mathcing speakers is, its getting a bit annoying now!!! needs a cd player.
and I'm replacing the bonnet (got one) and one front wing (need one) as they're badly creased/dented. i need a n/s wing mirror, and a n/s rear interior armrest as well
and some 18" amgs!! ;D

Welcome dez, Benz Boy told me about Hadrian Panels for W114/5 body panels, not as good as originals but better than nothing! As for other bits, German E-Bay seems good, but you problem know that going by your collection of German tinware ;D Is your W115 manual or auto? How do you find it as a daily driver?

Welcome along Dez - sounds like you've got a fair few projects on the go there!
A friend of mine nearly brought your Benz - I'm glad to hear its gone to a good home (I presume its the T3D One?)
I'm also on VZi as Derby79 but seem to rarely visit there anymore - the car subject matter here I feel is much more varied & open minded.

you get a warm welcome here don't you??!!! ;D yes, it is the ex-t3d merc! its a manual, and it youve ever driven a aircooled vw, it gearbox is exactly the same!!its nice as a daily, apart from a sight ground/exhaust interference problem i know about hadrian panels, ive not enquired about price yet tho. in fact if anyone wants a n/s front wing for a 123, for some reason one came with the car? ile swop it for one for mine. if anyone wants the mazda, b200, its slammed, semi smoothed, a bit scruffy, matt black, moted till aprilish i think, and 300 quid.

Why did I not see this post?! Better late than never - Welcome aboard! I was wondering how those alloys fitted under the arches of your W115 - I've got 16x8 wheels on mine and they stick out about half an inch on the front. The rears just fit with 225's on (a bit of gentle angle-grindering sorted that!) How is your Merc lowered? I looked everywhere for lowering kits but can't find any - ended up chopping a few coils of myself Funny I'm after a new wing and bonnet too after my crashing shenanigans A front grille would be nice too. And a headlamp chrome bezel. I got my wings, as Cool Merc said, from Hadrian - about £90 each. Phone Merc up if you want a laugh £300+VAT each! They are weapons-grade Panzer Tank thick steel though. The pattern ones are a bit on the thin side, but they fit good.

hmm, 90 quid aint as bad as i thought, and they're not too bad quality. it could be worse, i could be tempted by the nasty 'glass ones on ebay!! the wheels were 7.5 by 17, (deffo on the front, possibly 9x17 on the back......), with a monster 55mm ET. nock 20mm off for the adapers from 5/112 to 5/130, it still gives you a fairly big 35mm ET. with the rubber band tyres that were on them they actually had a smaller rolling radius than the stock 14inch 185s!! its lowered the easy way, chopped springs ;D the front rides well, it clunks a bit on the back tho, especially with the trailer on! my major priority at the moent is a mirror.
