So itβs been a while guys so my apologies, the Noble has been tucked up in the garage waiting for spring !! A couple of months ago we got a offer from Racecar Engineering to put the Noble in the wind tunnel , this is a fantastic opportunity to actually see what is happening with the aero on the car , today we spent a valuable 2 hours in the tunnel and boy did we get a surprise !!! I have been working with Simon McBeath over the last 2 years and we have tried lots of new bits and I can feel there has been a improvement especially at high speed but I know for a fact we did not expect such high downforce numbers . Iβm sworn to secrecy until the Magazine comes out but we now understand why we have seen 2 G of lateral cornering force πππ

Rust is lighter than Carbon Fibre which is why old Fords are so fast.

Hi Guys , good to hear from you all , all ok this End , had a few issues but nothing to serious!!! I have been using the Noble on the road all year , buzzing around having fun . I have done a couple of track day , Brands was good fun although I upset a guy in a Maclaren 570S ππ he then reported me to the TDO for going to fast π±π±π± Went to Caffeine and Machine with Dawn last Sunday , great trip out but the list of jobs to do is getting pretty long !!!! Still riding my ebike which Iβm loving , Brother has bought a nice Exige so have been out with him . Missing the racing !!! Iβm not sure the Noble is enjoying the road work πππ Hope you are all well πππ Tux

Is that even a thing Glad to hear all is going well, and good to see a cracking pair of legs too Yep made me and the TDO chuckle ππ I waited an hour before he went out again , followed him out of the pit lane hoping he was going to have another go .........pulled over and waved me past pretty quickly πππ

Are you no longer going to be doing TA or similar in the Noble or something else? Its one hell of a car for the money your asking, especially in comparison to some of the TA evo's currently up for sale for twice the price
Have you sold the kit car?

No plans to do any more racing in the Noble , over the winter Iβm going to turn her back into a more usable pad spec if not sold !! Hard to price as there is nothing like it !!
Yes Westfield has been sold !

Morning guys and dolls , well winter is here and itβs time to start the refresh and conversion back to road spec π Plan so far is : Rebuild body New smaller turbos Fit heater Fit blowers for cooling Fit new seats New interior carpets New clutch and flywheel . Biggest problems to be addressed are , boost ......there is nothing until 4500 Rpm then it hits you up the like a steam train !! Body is in a state π© Clutch is just nasty for road use ! Is he needs a heater and cockpit cooling urgently !! So far I have stripped the rear clam ready for it to be repaired . My old flywheel has been balanced and lightened . Just about to start engine removal . Itβs been a big decision to convert her back to a sensible road spec as the setup is perfect for track !! Looking forward to 2020 .

Hi mate, good to read an update! Not sure if I like that update. I really enjoyed reading about your car and achievements with it. Any exiting (automotive/racing) plans for 2020?
How is your health?
Cheers

It was a stunning track car and should make an equally stunning road car as well, Brilliant to hear that your health is good too, Nigel

I think it's a great new part of the story. Better than sitting in storage or stripped for parts like a lot of ex race cars.
