"rear brakes have done 2 full race seasons and a year on the road and still look like new" That doesn't surprise me at all. With all your trophies and achievements/winnings it appears that you don't use your brakes much at all....

Mike at QED Automotive has GT03 RAW and is doing some serious modifications to the engine and rear end. Lots of fibreglass work reprofiling the engine cover and adding vents etc.
Trouble is he's always too busy with work to get on and finish it!

I never realized just how fast the Noble is !! Last weekend was the final round of TA in the uk , this highspec slick shod focus running a fully sequential gearbox ran a 1.18,271 set a new lap record !! The Noble ran a 1.17.157 last year running road Tyres and a std 6 speed gearbox !,

Whether you believe you can, or you cannot, you're probably right.

Good point ππ
I have often wondered how fast we could have gone with a new set of slicks fitted over the Trofeo R road Tyres !!!

How do you (the Focus) get a lap record by being slower? I assume itβs for a different class or thereβs a slight difference in the course?

Just spent last few days reading this in full.. what a journey for both you and the car. I've always liked the look of these but thought they just lacked enough poke to be proper (I raced bikes for years so my sense of fast is different to most haha)
You've made it into something properly special with performance to match! So well done on that front and congrats on the health front.

I suppose the Noble is pretty much a bike with 4 wheels , I have had a few goes against bikes and received more than a few thumbs up πππ 700 bhp and 1040 kg is a pretty good power to weight ratio !!

Handsome when stock and handsomely menacing now. How many blokes take their cars to the wind tunnel? Not many. From which vehicle are the taillight assemblies borrowed? Feel like I can almost figure it out, but not quite... Overall, a very serious bit of kit. Best, John

Hi guys , just thought I would check in again !! What a very strange year we are all having π±π± Firstly I hope everbody is safe !!! Because of my transplant Iβm self isolating at home and have been advised to do that for 3 months π©π© The only good side is I have plenty of time for the Noble !! Gearbox has been rebuilt and it was very tired so itβs a good job we had it done !! Engine is in tip top condition so itβs been put back in , turbos have been champ get for smaller units so hopefully it will be less laggy for road use . I have also fitted a heater ππ yes I know but I feel the cold in my old age π Lots of cleaning and replacing stuff , the rear clam is all repaired and re wrapped ready to go back on . Brake calipers have been completely refurbished . Iβm pleased to say my Transplant kidney is working well and thankfully Iβm still feeling very well !! Iβm still mountain biking and have recently rebuilt my new bike to match the Noble ππ Will post up more updates as I get them . Stay safe everyone πππ
