Man this thing's going to be mental! Not that it isn't already Could you go for a sightly longer intercooler and flip it around so the pipes go directly back through the foglight holes? Or was that the plan alreadY? Yes the actual one I use would be slightly bigger and yes the pipes would go through the fog lights and inner wings. Mg6 intercooler I just had knocking about to offer up

I've just got the trailer brakes bringing the allegro high level one on, works well.
Yeah I'll have to check the exact measurements and find a cooler as close as possible. Probably one with straight pipes rather than 90 degree, that way I can adjust the 90 degrees exactly into the fog light openings

Me too! The turbo engine is being built either way, if not in the Allegro it's going in this, yes I needed milk during lockdown!

Now isn't that a thing of beauty!
Honestly I've got a real soft spot for Allegros. Not one of the 'my gran used to have one' soft spots, but a genuine 'I think they look really good with a few modifications' soft spot.
Probably helps that I'm too young to have seen them in service on the road...

My Dad hates them, he said he was always stuck behind one driven by an old man wearing a hat! That's when I knew I had to get one! Smurf it Sunday! Only one place this engine is heading now 350hp Allegro

Heater pipe adjusted I'll have a sensor rail in the top pipe, will be monitoring coolant temp and pressure (for head lift, its still a K series lol) Maybe have another sensor after the stat or after the rad to measure effectiveness

Had to alter the block to accept a pulse sensor rather than a hall sensor that the mg6 used. P38 range rover one fits well and was able to reuse the mounting point rather than redrill and tap a new one

Hell yeah Interesting about the cheapy turbo's wastegate being way too small. Must remind myself to check that if I ever get one!

Yeah that would suffer from boost creep, also I want to be able to lower the boost in low gears.
