Got myself some fancy mounts, polybushed all the rest of the engine steady mounts as well. Engine bolted in, lots of plumbing and wiring to do, Getting a GT30 with a 53mm shaft made up hopefully then I can start on the downpipe

I had very similar engine mounts on my mk2 jetta when the whole car was polybushed. I ended up going back to New stock engine mounts as the nvh was crazy.

I'll have to see how it goes, this one is the fast road version rather than the race one. something needs to keep the engine in check though!

Oil cooler mounted, lines will be routed properly Although I do quite like the Bosozku look!

Can you let me know how much the oil temp drops after this is fitted?

in my experience often the problem is stopping overcooling --my last subaru could,nt get above 75 degrees(19 row),,at those temps the oil doesnt evapourate off fuel and water vapour ,and they take ages to warm up ,lesson learned to always fit a stat lol ,,

Oil cooler mounted, lines will be routed properly Although I do quite like the Bosozku look! ed i would consider remembering that those oil lines will have 100 degree oil at full oil pressure running in them mate ,i ran braided sleeved lines with fire sleeving on my oil cooler -recently 3 years after fitting i changed exhaust headers and the return line from my small oil cooler was burnt to death out of sight above the header ,only saved by the fire sleeving, not sure how long it would of continued like that. i had a cooler split its core years ago with a cold engine and it pumped the whole 5 litres on my driveway in less than 5or6 seconds,if the engine had been up to temp and driving it would have lunched my new engine and may have burnt the car to the ground ,,

I did think about upgrading the lines to braided AN ones but these pipes are pretty tough, better safe than sorry mind. The sandwich plate has a stat in it so the cooler circuit will only be used once upto temp, with the turbo helping to heat the oil I'm sure it won't take too long.
Have seen an oil cooler pipe fail and it did come out quick!
Luckily my ecu will be monitoring oil pressure and has safety cuts I'll setup

Fitted a teflon spacer to the inlet last night, gives me a little more clearance to the head and should help with heat soak into the inlet.

So in order to fit a 3 inch exhaust through the tunnel the mgzr gear linkage will have to go, I didn't like it anyway. Plan a is to use cables routed around the passenger set and an aftermarket Honda shifter.

Slow progress but progress still. Intercooler pipes are done and actually fit Top coolant pipe and sensor rail, turbo is also now mounted. I'll be monitoring coolant pressure as well as temp, also added a bleed port Next jobs make some turbo coolant / oil lines, downpipe will fit but be tricky to make Also sending this coolant outlet away to have the pipes made in ally rather than the awful plastic connectors
