Does anyone have an interest in garden gauge model railways or know much about them ? reason for my question, I have been asked to sell some for a very good friend of mine as he hates selling anything.
I am well out of my comfort zone with this so I need a bit of help in trying to put a realistic value on it. I will get the full details on what it will consist of, all I know at the moment is that it is all Lehmann LGB 2 starter packs, one goods , one passenger with extra track and some accessories I hope to have some pics later this week.

I'm interested in seeing it to be honest, value? No idea. I've always wanted some G scale but I fear it's often outside of my price range..

Sadly what he said ^^^ G scale has never been cheap I would think if they are boxed sets they may be worth considerably more than the sum of their components. So i'll venture £100 for the lot and i'll pick it all up asap Edit - that price was just a joke mate its going to be worth a lot more.

LGB is great stuff - pretty similar scale to Playmobil, which is can be a good source for buildings etc. My uncle has a LGB garden railway and much of it has to be at least 20 if not 25 years old and it is all still in good order. The garden is slightly raised up compared to the back of the house, so the track enters the house through a cat flap, into a station set up at sideboard height. Oh, and the cat learnt quite quickly to check for trains before using the flap! For the more adventurous, radio controlled steam locos (gas fired - the radio just runs the governor and whistle) are available that run happily on LGB track

Post up some pics of what you have, I have a friend into g scale and gauge 1. I've just received the first lot of pics and to be honest there are too many to list so if you let me have an email address I'll forward them on. I will pick about 4 or 5 pics and post them up as soon as I have time as there is a lot more stuff than I first thought.

May I ask what part of the Country you are in, I reckon a large car will be needed to move it all.
