Rob at the garage that looks after the ZS (he's into his hot rods) is working on this. We have a slight idea what it may have been but aren't sure, so I thought there must be someone on here who can ID it. 90% sure it's british and the distinguising feature seems to be three stud wheels! Any input most welcome, sorry about the pics, phone cam in dingey garage. Whatever it is, it will soon be boasting a big yank v8 and a model T body. ta

Aren't they Beetle wheels? exactly what i thought!! rest of it does look like a austin 7/chummy though. 'cept they didnt have IFS. so that leads me to believe its a genuine BITSA

That's definately not an A7,and nor does it have IFS either. What looks like the IFS bits are in fact just lever arm shock absorbers. Cart springs & a beam axle are clearly visible. Also has hydraulic fornt brakes, but given the wheels, those could easily be a modification.
Difficult to say what it is tbh as there are very few distinguishing features. However a larger Austin (10?) or perhaps a Morris is likely.
