Having regularly read many car magazines over the years I have now stopped buying any of them. For me the editorial vs adverts vs cover price ratio makes them completely untenable.
There is so much good content on YouTube I now don't bother with any broadcast TV at all. Favourite YouTube channels include:
Vice Grip Garage Vice Grip Lodge Junkyard Digs Junkyard Mook Flying Sparks Garage Adam C Dylan McCool Car Throttle Hoovies Salvage Rebuilds Bright Sun Films The Proper People The Bearded Explorer Samcrac Life Uncontained Trent and Allie
And many more. Doesn't leave much time for broadcast TV. And using a VPN means no adverts

Here and Pistonheads in terms of forum activity, with the occasional foray into Volkszone. Magazines - very rarely. Picked up a copy of PPC in Smiths the other, first thing I noticed was that its much thinner/lighter than it used to be, then when I scanned it... £6!! better be good YouTube: The Late Brake Show Smith and Sniff Mighty Car Mods Hoovies Garage Finnegans Garage CarTrek / Tavarish Social Media: Facebook Instagram Twitter Think that covers most of it!

I am active on this forum (obviously), I also inhabit The Mini Forum and The Midas Cars Forum, mainly for updating my ongoing build thread. I was very active on the Golf GTi forum a few years ago but since selling anything I had VW-related I very rarely pop in now.
Magazines I get are Practical Classics and PPC (this one's on Subs as it is difficult to get in the shops round my way). Plus they featured my project a while back. If I am going on a long trip (flight or train) then I grab a copy of Classic and Sportscar.
Stuff I watch on TV is Car SOS, and occasionally Wheeler Dealers, although Mike Brewer does grate. I like Bangers and Cash (although it isn't quite as good since Sarah left). I will also watch Kindig Customs occasionally if nothing else is on, mainly because I like seeing them put the ideas they have into working metal.
I have also stumbled across Vice Grip Garage on YouTube - I find Derek strangely entertaining, plus it terrifies me what's actually deemed "ok" on US roads.
I was a huge Roadkill and other assorted Motor Trend shows fan, but since they threw every subscriber outside of the US off their streaming platform a while back I have not looked at returning. Can it be streamed legally elsewhere does anyone know?

I have a subscription to Classic & Sportscar mag, have done for more than a decade I’d guess. Buy Practical Classics & Classic Car Weekly every now & then. I watch the occasional tv stuff, Welder Up, Bangers & Cash etc, but tbh, the adverts drive me INSANE. I refuse to pay for any tv (apart from Netflix, no ads ya see) every other channel is crazy, the programme has only been on literally 4 mins & the ads start. Apologies for the rant but they all need boycotting

I like Australia's Street Machine Magazine content and it's on most platforms. Some of the "chop" out of the burnout cars are just stupid......😎😎

Can it be streamed legally elsewhere does anyone know? Older episodes are now included with the Amazon Prime package and newer ones can be added with the additional Motortrend subscription for £3.99/month. This also gives you other motoring content.

They clearly have to have the ads, it’s the frequency & length of them I find annoying. In say a 1 hr program there are about 20 mins of ads, it’s madness
