Totally agree about the roof chop but it seemed to be the thing to do back in the late 70s early 80s.
I suppose a roof chopped ride nowdays would be seen as seriously retro.
Still like the car tho........in a retro sort of way.

That looks more late 80's, early 90's to me..... You could well be right. I wasnt aware that roof chopping was fashionable in the late 80s 90s tho I suppose the rodding fraternity would have still been doing it. I bow to your greater knowledge. |

totally McDonald's, I'm loving it ;D it takes me back to when a lot of cars and vans got chopped. and buy the way roof chopping started in the '40s  its not a fashion statement its to do with style and function you either get it or you don't.... |

There was definitely quite a thing for stuff like this back in the late 80's. I was trying to find the pic I've got of a massively chopped Type 3 van taken in 1988, also primer IIRC.
