They looked pretty good from where I was.... didn't get a close look though as it started to rain when just after that picture was taken! yeah they're both pretty mint, my brothers GT6 was there too! Ohh, mum wont be happy if it rained on the way home, hehe! |

Steve, Gurston Down is quite probably my favourite place on earth. The barns around it are full of old cars, landies, tractors etc! Junglist, it only rained for about 5 minutes, enough to get all the single seater drivers worried though  More more more! Rolly polly TR6:  Quick TR7 again:  *dribble* TR4:  'As featured in Top Gear':  GT6:  Another yellow TR6?:  Isn't that TR7 just perfect?:   |

Sorry about the repeats of cars guys. Nippy Elise.... was having strange running problems but obviously got it going again!  Another car of the day.... bike engined Ginetta went like nothing else and sounded like a small slice of heaven:  MGB V8, definately needed an LSD!:  Very subdued Westfield Megablade, quick though:  More SoapSud (i like this one as well in case you hadn't noticed  ):   This escort, although not retro, shows exactly what budget motorsport is! Standard car, everything unnecessary removed, new suspension/brakes/ bucket seat/harness and you're off!:  This Escort was an absolute beast!:  Brutal V8 Ginetta:  Tuned Zetec engined Ginetta, absolutely perfect in every way!:  Yessssssss:  |

I rather like that Escort MkII, looks very purposeful. There’s something about them when the headlights are removed but the grille left in place, I think it must be from seeing them like that as Hot Rods on the ovals back in the day.
