Started off nice and early, first retros in the carpark! Lovely Merc tow car:  Funny cobra replica, would look good with those Wellers replaced:  Interesting TR7 with large modern wheels:  Then straight into the paddock for a look around. It was completely full of retroness, and straight infront of the entrance was this: Mint and well used Renault Alpine (A110?):  And just about to go up the hill was this Metro 6R4 (not as it seems):  Also a lovely Porsche:  On the startline this very whiney 1380 Mini:  I spotted this and had to chase after it, a spaceframed, Honda Blackbird powered Imp racer which was mullering single seaters!:  (loads more coming). |

A closer look at the metro revealed a Pinto engine in the front powering the rear wheels! Was still pretty quick through.  This must have been the best RS500 I have ever seen, and used properly!:   Really really quick Cosworth powered escort:  Line up of Austin Healeys:  Ratty V8 TR7:  Line up of Mini's (werent competing)  Strange sprite based thing:  Lovely sounding Austin Healey, struggled with the hill though:  Two more sprites:  |

Sprite-based thing is an Arkley SS, if I'm not mistaken.
Good mix of stuff there. Did it stay dry?

This must have been the best RS500 I have ever seen, and used properly!: Remember that one being featured in Performance Ford not too long ago as a regular feat. car and as part of their yearly "daddy thrash". Seriously quick from what I recall. Full RS500 spec engine running 500+ bhp. Owned by an older chap if memory serves me. |

Another V8 TR7, wasn't sounding to good, and then decided to throw bits of piston and spark plug out of the exhaust in the paddock. The owner wanted to continue but the others advised him that it wasn't wise:p :  An absolutely lovely TR4 that pushed all my buttons:  Ruptured duck Alfasud:   My dad's friends TR7, only TR7 still running the standard engine:  |

Haha I was going to leave an RR Show card on it, but then remembered it would be there anyway! I handed out a good few cards throughout the day though so I think I've recruited a few more! |

Just can't get enough of that Imp!!!!: for all the pics you've taken i love this one  it's the combination of the ratty old tin shack , the moss/old tree debris on the roof , the tractor parked up a bit ,the imp patiently waiting to get out on the track again and the owner (?) just out of the picture having 5 minutes out.. - brilliant |

Various TRs and MGs: Cool, thats my dads tr6 and uncles stag  They said the 6r4 was pretty slow so didnt think it was a real one, shame i had to be up north doin uni work, went the before, tis awesome! |
