Was looking for a bootsale to pick up some wibblepoo at today, eventually saw this on the A20 close to Aylesbury, it was for sale too. Too rich for my taste, unfinished, and a long way from photo report. I did like the shape enough to turn around and go photograph it.    Also saw a lot of these, not really right here, but amusing none the same, why would someone have 20 or more of them, new business venture ?    |

Ha ha, bringing those funny things back from wherever in Eastern Europe they came from sort of craps all over any worries I ever had of transporting a new purchase from Bournemouth back to Bath!
That sled is great. Feel like a filmstar for £14K. Definately not for shrinking violets!

sweet chev  those are haglunds snowcats. safety devices designed safety cages for a fleet of 'em. used in the oil business in russia and the like. all track drive, a mate described one as the ultimate "green laner" ;D ex norway/sewden army like paulH says. |

I know the sled's owner. It's had top work from some well known rod houses like the old owner of Dooster and Burnham autos. It's had a ****load spent on it. Nice car but way out my price range  Edit: all that info is on the for sale notice - oops |
