Anyone in the Surrey/hampshire/berkshire/London area interested......
Me and the sort-of Father-in-law are trying to start a new meet up once a month for all things classic. A Meet for everyone around the area to come and have a drink more local than say, the Ace.
We've found a Landlord whos more than happy for it to happen and for the carpark to be filled with retros/hotrods/classics.
And the pubs called 'The Old Ford'......how damn good is that?!?!
Just trying to get some feedback on wether anyone would think this to be a great idea? seeing as most of the hard work has been done (venue etc) you'd just have to turn up when you could/wanted to.
The plan is do it on one Sunday/Saturday once a month (ie: 1st Sunday of each month or whatever fits)
What you all think???
I mean, I'm a firm believer in everyone like-minded spending time together talking cars and drinking beer - is there anything better?
From What I know there isnt a proper regular meet around here really at all!
(BTW Ive only put this in the general board beacuse not alot of people seem to look at the Events page with any regularity so apologies for the placement of the post)
