	i've been offered one......in need of finishing.......but it's free!!! need to confirm it's a GT....not a GT/E......but she states it's very rare. what do i need to know? thanks.........

	The Scimitar GTs are very pretty and came in either Zodiac straight 6 or Essex V6 flavours, and are the forerunner to the famous GTE. Loads of info here: www.sporting-reliants.com/

	well........luck never usually shines my way, but it has today ;D she is most certainly a 'GT'...........going to sort it all out thursday really nice lady too.......i've promised to look after her (the car...not the lady ) oh....one of these....

	Value-wise, IIRC the straight 6 versions are worth more, as they're eligible for historic rallying. Chassis / suspension etc is basically the same as the Sabre 6 that preceded it, & there's definately 2 (if not more) Sabres that compete in the historic racing series, so the performance & handling tuning data is out there.

	Here's a few pics of a straight 6 GT that belongs to a friend of my dad, taken halfway through stripping the old paint. This was a few years ago - I don't think it's finished yet but it is now fully caged, for use in long distance rallying (hence also the steels instead of the wires):
