Hello from the US. Love your website. Here is my 1970 Austin America, ADO16, located in Connecticut. I've only owned it for a short time, and I'm sure I will have questions for you guys once I get more into it. A company Minitec restored it and added all the modern goodies for me. Thanks for checking it out. That would make the wife happy. She's not very impressed with it. Thinks I will get squished on the highway by a big SUV.

Simply brilliant. Great that you've kept it looking pretty normal from the outside.

Thanks everyone. The roads here have been covered in ice/snow since I got it so I've barely been able to drive it. Last week I did install some Lucas driving lights.

Will definitely post a vid. The new exhaust setup is a DC Sports header, 2.5 inch (I know, typical Yank not metric) tubing, Magnaflow resonator, and Apexi WS2 muffler. I haven't even heard the new exhaust setup yet. Muffler arrived yesterday and will go on Monday. The system that came with the car was too fart-can sounding for me, so I had to change it.

No problem with the non metric, only the bloody EU interfering gits that changed us from Imperial Measurements. A lot of us still work in feet and inches !! That seems like a great setup, just got to hear it soon, can't wait !

Greart car! I don't know why some people go on about the eu making us go metric. We went decimal 44 years ago and I was taught metric at school in the late 60s!

the ultimate sleeper! as a Honda fan, i just can approve, well done ! how do you upgrade the chassis ? Thanks. New front and rear subframes were installed and adjustable coil-over shocks were put in place of the original "hydrostatic" setup. It is a modified version of the vtec swap used on classic mini's. I can't take much credit for that as Minitec sorted all that out for me. Its funny because I found this site while it was being built. I stumbled upon a pic my my actual car on this forum early on in the project.
