Be better if it was a Low Drag E-Type Jaguar, rather than a plastic pig. .. edit because I'm a massive idiot.
Also just to clarify I think it is an amazing piece of engineering and I do like it. I was worried this was going to be a production thing and suddenly we'd have loads of them, which detracts from the original cars as far as I'm concerned (see Cobra, "GT40s" and the various "continuation" and "evocation" type things floating around the classic scene).

I'm one of the few people who does not like the Speedster (because the original E-Type is so much prettier) but I really like this.

rather than a plastic pig. Eh? 'tis an all-aluminium body, hence the vast number of man-hours and the huge cost...

I take it back in that case... thought it was a new eagle plastic kit. If not ... it would be better if it was an original and had some history

Stunning. I'd rather have this than an original as if I had a concourse E-type I'd be scared to drive it. I'd gladly accept one of these fresh off the production line and create my own history.
Just the small matter of the price to deal with.

Well why not post an original one with history then our illustrious leader Good point And I can answer this at the same time : Stunning. I'd rather have this than an original as if I had a concourse E-type I'd be scared to drive it. If you can afford that stuff, then maybe you'd be like these two : IMG_4244 by RetroSceneMag, on Flickr Nice backside sir IMG_4242 by RetroSceneMag, on Flickr Not a Low Drag, but a lightweight with some rather nice patination IMG_4241 by RetroSceneMag, on Flickr IMG_4238 by RetroSceneMag, on Flickr And another lightweight IMG_4250 by RetroSceneMag, on Flickr The gallery/set they are from will have some photos of them racing I think

Dbiz - are the front and rear screens indeed modern style ones with black screenprint around the edges, as sadly appears to be visible in the pics?
