I was polishin' my superminx today (about all I can do since half my tools and all my stands are MIA ) when I noticed the seal around the windscreen is split. I reckon if I leave it there could be untold grief. What's the best course of action? Should I change the seal? This seems like a right ball-ache, TBH, as it's a really awkward shaped screen, and seeing as the car will mostly be living indoors anyway.... Should I just bosh in some appropriately coloured mastic and hope for the best?

If the seal / screen / screentrim / bodyshell interface is such that it can be mastic-ed easily & neatly, then I'd try that first & see if it keeps it watertight. If you can get new screen rubbers for the Minx, I'd recommend finding out through the OC if they're any good since some repro seals are pretty useless Reminds me - I must get around to doing this again with the Amazon's screen* soon.... *Watertight Amazon screens are like poor quality wobbly children's play pony sh1t
