Then I see motors like this, and it makes me want to go back even more. I'll hopefully be out there in a couple of months, or towards the end of October depending on what happens between now and then. Either way, stuff like that will be featuring heavily in my vision... The world needs to see more NZ cars in their magazines ;D |

bryn, I can quite easily put you into contact with the owner of the ZG, he lives in Dunedin, as does the car. That 240RS driven in anger, is the owner. He also has or at least used to have another 240RS as well as an SP311 Fairlady 2000 Roadster, LHD that he bought over from the US to re-build over here for local classic racing, he's a very nice bloke and is generally more than happy to show off his toys. He also had a completely mint restored S30 240Z but that has since been sold.
If you were to make it to Dunedin to see him and the cars I could also pass on a few more details for various other people there's a young guy restoring a 240K up that way, I know of a 70's 626 Wagon getting a bit of a makeover, the same guy has a MkII Escort Wagon, and a Mazda 1000 ute. Also, a guy with a mint 510 with Z18ET conversion, another guy with another mint 510 this time with a worked L20B, another young guy with a fairly standard but still classy 230 series Cedric. also the brother of one of the 510 guys is doing up a B110 (Datsun 1200) sedan which is currently in primer and will .. like his brother's, be getting a worked OEM type engine, this time A-series.
