Okay folks,..
I'm thinking of ressurecting the Retro Rides Newsletter. However I haven't got time to put it togther, so I need someone that will be able to edit it on a monthly basis.
I have some plans for it that means this isn't just a trivial job... Are you up to the challenge??

Maybe you could have a 'guest' editor, like the 'guest' directors they have on ER or CSI?  I'd be reluctant to take on the regular job as I suspect I'd fail/let everyone down in the long term...but I'd happily take the helm for a month! ;D |

yeah Thats what I'm thinking,..
I need to have a little think on exactly what I want to be in the newsletter and what I want to get out of it, both short and long term... but it is encouraging that people want to get involved...

whats a newsletter?? :S What about having articals written by different peeps every month, sort of a team effort?? I could write an article but i doubt you should trust me with a whole month! |

I'm editor for our VW club magazine, comes out every two months and takes a while to write, but I'm happy to offer advice and maybe contribute once in a while if not too busy |

you could get all different people together to write different articles every week, have some sort of editor or maybe an editorial team to add in news items, maybe some guest columnists or something. Get some ads in to support the cost.
Then all you'd need to do is print out a couple of thousand copies and leave them in strategic places nationwide (say branches of WH Smiths) so that forum members could pop in and read them for free during their lunch breaks!
