Yeh it noticed that, I thought it was one of those wheels Adam has on his locost or a mk1 fiesta steel but that would be stupid!

Cheers Paul! The conversion job on the Volvo was very good and tidy. I believe it used to belong to a local Motorcycle dealer but they got burnt down, so I assume this car dealer has it now as conversation piece.

That generation of Charade is getting really thin on the ground now, at least it has one of the mad wheel trims left! Looks very solid too.

Scary moment of De'Ja Vu My dad being a farmboy himself, believed his sons needd to learn to drive when their feet could touch the brakes and accelerator..... Hence the fact that he took me onto a rugby field aged 7 andstarted to teach me to drive in his Mini Pickup. Customised in 1970 Metalflake green, with a 8Track tape and speakers behind the seats. Wish I could build and deliver him one of these in the original metalflake green, maybe even with working 8track and Simon and Garfunkel tape. However he is 71 and ill, so I guess it would be a waste of time and effort. What a great nostalgia post this has been for me ;D  |
