Boosted bike carbs ay? Got more pics. Something I'm attempting at the moment. Have you encountered many problems?

I love these, one of the best looking cars around IMHO and that one is seriously nice.

Thanks Midas! Well Mr. Pork..... that sounded wrong lol. After 3 months of struggling, its the reason why its coming off the road over winter and full change about. After 2 rolling road sessions and £200 lighter they're just the worst thing I could have put on the car, so unreliable and unpredictable it ruined a lot of drives for me. Guy I use to work with has a r1 engined kit car on the same carbs hes boosted, slightly better but still inconsistent, fuel is just so erratic and all over the place, he must have changed his jets 6 times now!! Heres some pics of the doomed set up all these black rubbers melted after the bottom of each carb leaked and ruined them, also I can never get the hose clips to stay on the carbs..... really boils my curse word thinking about these carbs lol, cant wait to loose them! Good luck with yours though, you might be more successful!

What have you done to make the carbs pressure suited? Not in a I know better than you way, I was thinking about a bike carb turbo, but wasn't sure about using standard carbs as boost can make them do funny things, so I bought some carbs and plenum (with integral reed valves, it's quite a funky plenum) off a Suzuki xj650 turbo. Just wondered what your experiences were. Cheers, Frank.

"Tarted about" you say. You do yourself a dis-service, Sir! Sweet little car, and magnificent work on the seats.

Looks really good, spotted this in your imp thread Have you had the frame re galvanised or is it new metal? Any problems doing that?

Its a looker. No doubt about it. Is there an official name or code for the colour you have painted it as its quite tasty.

Wow, remember seeing this build early on, it has come out so well. I am very jealous. Always loved the G15 out of all of the Imp derived cars. One day Oh, and those seats :0 they are awesome!
