[quote author=kyle board=general thread=1165412332 post=1166034553 There is no such thing as a boring Mini! Get ya pics up! There is so many people on here with multiple cars in their collection that haven't posted them up! doesn't matter what you've got or what state it's in, be proud to post it. My ADO16 1300 Countryman is in this post, looks minging and dead but one member called it cool! Made my day.[/quote]
I'm afraid mine is the only dull mini around. superlites, downton mirrors. hideous amount of space in the rear arches and a liberal dash of rust.

.... bit intimidated by the mech knowledge tbh... anyway, this is mine (sorry, OURS, she might be listening.) Don't worry about it dude. I have the mechanical ability of a retarded ant, but the peeps on here don't seem to mind. Its just about enjoying retro cars, no snobbery or anything like that involved. In fact one of the best forums I use as there is a distinct lack nastiness. Bus looks good BTW. Looks like it has lots of potential, but, if I may be so bold it needs a whack with the stick!! ;D Just my opinion mind.

Not really a newbie or a lurker, but... Hello all, another one crawling out the woodwork.. good site, some damn fine motors on here ;D Now hopefully this photo thing will work.. my '62 Mk1 Cortina.. ..and the Mk1 with my '88 Subaru 1800 MV pick-up in the background.. The 'tina was a 4 door, but got rebuilt a few years back as a Lotus Cortina replica- yes they welded up the rear doors- and did have a Lotus twin-cam lump (see Classic Ford Mag February'03 page 66). A few owners down the line and she is a bit worse for wear, with a 1600 x-flow, but still a great car with a lot of potential. ...cheers... Aux Yeah, I sold the Cortina to Aux a few months ago to fund this... 1954b lhd Swedish oval... Unfortunately work on it has ground to a halt due to me snapping my arm in two places, so the only metal work I've been involved with recently has been in my arm! Plans are for a respray courtesy of Nick (ex Freestyle) and few custom mods, as well as a ground scraping stance. I'm also still rolling the GTi as my daily, until I get the Oval on the road, then I'm flogging the Golf. Great thread btw! ;D

It's all very well picking on us newbies! How about some of the more established members showing their fleet? Some of you have some very interesting motors on paper, for example Slammed 66... 1990 r32 GTR // 93 renault extra GT Turbo // 78 mini pickup // 66 splitscreen camper // + more Not many people are without a digital camera now so come on, show us yours! ;D There's mine....not everyone's taste on here I'm sure, but I love it enough (sometimes I even wash it....) Daily driver? Right now you're looking at it, but there's something vaguely Mk2 Astra-shaped that may be coming my way.... Brian

Been lurking on here for ages, have a read up every few weeks but never got round to signing up! Anyway, my current car isn't exactly retro and I doubt will get much love on here... A couple of my old cars to increase the retro count:

mrben.....am loving that Mk2...simple, clean and unspoiled :-) welcome to retro-heaven Cheers, was my first car back in '95. Was the dream find - one owner from new, 34,000 miles, the underside was unwelded and absolutley solid! Bolted on the appropriate mods - Revo 4-spokes, Astrali steering wheel, Peco back box etc. Sadly the guy I sold it to smacked it into a kamikaze nova, and it was scrapped soon after
