Generally01, nice cars & stock you've got there! Is that last one an Alvis TAsomething? According to the Alvis owners club the full name is an "Alvis TB 14 AP metalcraft 2-seater". Catchy, aint it. Good job it dosnt have a badge on the back or it would need to twice the width. |

I do a bit of lurking............got loads of cars, but this is my future moneypit..........    1 gentleman owner............had to sell her due to moving to a retirement flat......poor old boy was devestated  but it was very cheap, and will be very well looked after, watch this space  still got the 'turd' aswell........see avatar. |

Its great to see some lurkers/low posters on here - its the people that make a forum, and the greater numbers and diversity we have the bigger and better RR will continue to be!
generalrally01 - loving that fasty! Can you go back to that spot with the bus. Park the fasty on the opposite side of the road, next to that black/white poled bus stop in front of the graffiti'd wall. A photo there would look the daddies!!

Hello all, another one crawling out the woodwork.. good site, some damn fine motors on here ;D Now hopefully this photo thing will work.. my '62 Mk1 Cortina..    ..and the Mk1 with my '88 Subaru 1800 MV pick-up in the background..  The 'tina was a 4 door, but got rebuilt a few years back as a Lotus Cortina replica- yes they welded up the rear doors- and did have a Lotus twin-cam lump (see Classic Ford Mag February'03 page 66). A few owners down the line and she is a bit worse for wear, with a 1600 x-flow, but still a great car with a lot of potential. Got a huge soft spot for the MV pick-up, slightly battered and fully stock, its my daily when I'm not in me works transit tipper. Some past motors: a couple of '88 BMW 525 '88 BMW 518 '87 Celica mk1 Golf 1100 '87 Saab 900i mk4 Cortina Ford Thames truck Bedford TK Ford D series ...cheers... Aux |

That was what I was aiming for but it was a museum open day with vintage busses arriving all the time. I would either have been chased or squashed. |

The 'tina will be de-stickered soon, and hopefully a new paint job by next summer.. loosing the gold flash and maybe going more of a satin black, or off-black eg: very dark green-black.. if ya get me.
Also want to put it on new rims, maybe anthracite minilites.

yeah, its stussys old one, and a guy who's username was olson (or similar) bought it from her
i don't think this needs to be a sticky, at the end of the day if its popular and people post then it will stay near the top. Most people skim over stickies imo
