I've just noticed this car for sale in the new issue of C&SC. My first thought was "Oh m god - what have they done to that Zagato! " but now I've found the pictures online I can't decide. I'm almost considering it Ooof worthy! Also it isn't a genuine Zagato DB4 so that's some relief but a very modifed normal DB4. Hmm, still think it'd be nicer with period stuff on the outside...

I concur, there's something definately not right with it, yet something genuinely attractive about it at the same time.

It looks a bit like a kit car,or maybe a marcos on steroids! I generally love cars like this, but something just isn't quite right about it................

i think this beastie may be suffering the same problem as the farboud gt1 (remember those) the guy who 'designed' it (i use the term lightly) basically nicked inspiration from all his favourite cars, which he readily admitted.trouble was when it appeared it looked like a hideous mismash of bits.he based it on lemans porsches and the like taking the best bits from different cars,i know bits of 911 gt1 and 956/962 went into the mix,but it just didn't gel together.i fear this aston has suffered the same fate.

Oh and another thing anyone any idea what kind of class this could actually race in? Actually, it'd probably look rather good in one of those Berg cup threads!

aston martin owners club ;D I used to go to the AMOC meetings at Brands Hatch, they were ACE really enthusiastic group. Some stunning machinery as well! i marshalled quite a few myself, along with the rallycross and some of the smaller clubbie meets the amoc ones were amongst the best, but unfortunaltey the tweed brigade were a frightful bore.

I don't Like it I have to be Honest Gone from a Beautiful shape of the DB series Aston to the Bloated Fat head Marcos look I cant help thinking it would have been nicer left Standard Body with Bubble arches, a bit more 70`s Supersaloon or AMOC modified.... Engineering underneath looks very nice though, nicely prepared car, just a shame about the "Updated" looks
