Gasp! That's superb. Am I being thick or are those rear lights different to the other RX7's I've seen?! Get the lad on here... he'll not look back

Get the lad on here... he'll not look back It's his choice - I'll be dissapointed if he doesn't picked up for a nice price too - needs some inspiration - can't think of anywhere better for that than here..... ;D

You're right BenzBoy - those lights look like early Civic Accord rear lights??

I think very early RX7s had smaller rear lights before the later smokey ones.
Top wankel!

Looks great! Small rear lights are just what the pre-facelift models had, don’t often see them as I suppose later model sold/lasted better.

That's very nice I've got a rust free one with the later rear lights that may yield him some useful spares if he needs owt

Early rear ends are not the prettiest, much prefer the facelift style.

Here i am! It was a bit of an impulse buy actually.....I'm actually after a Gen 1 celica but i'm bored of waiting, saw this on the bay and got carried away! All sorts of ideas have been running through my head as to what to do with it.....the rear end being one of them The car itself seemed pretty clean, but i'm starting to uncover some floorpan holes as we speak,so the welder will get some use me thinks. Anyway,it's taxed and mot'd till Aug so i'm just tooling around in it having a laugh at the mo. I also own an '88 Nova for kicking when i'm angry And a '94 Mitsubishi FTO turbo for overtaking stuff. And hopefully i'll have a nice TA22/23/27 RA/21/28 Celica soon fresh from Japan

Welcome "Mr hongkongphooey" to the mad house but I think you will fit right in I don't think it's possible not to fit in at the house of R-R!!!! Such are the varied and wonderful contraptions on here Hey Mr HKPhooey... stunning little SA22 RX-7 you've got there, I remember when you used to be able to buy those over here for peanuts, $1000NZD would pick up a tidy one maybe 7 or 8 years ago, nowadays they're very sought after by the rotorheads/wannabe rotorheads... it's a relatively rare sight to see one on the roads too.
