...Oh my god we have a winner! Heres one finger up to all you doubters i got dolly turned over and she coughed a lot of curse word out her poor holey exhaust. She needs a lot of tuning and probably needs to be run for a while but its a start! Lots of massive shouts to old tigran who pointed me in the right direction when it came to rebuilding the dizzy!

I never thought I'd see the day ;D Congrats! The SUs are a doddle to tune, so you should be in good stead Worth takin' the dashpots off, cleaning 'em all out and making sure it's all as in the manual. Take the float chamber tops off too and clean all the crud out the bottom. Other than that, go for it! New leads, plugs, all that gaff....dizzy can be a curse word, I'm sure you've found how hard it is to get at but once the gap's done you should be good to go! Winnar!

Don't forget to check all the fluids includin' the tranny too, can't do with you getting this far and nuking it ;D (check the temps too!

Given this could well be the first time the car has run in over 18 years I reckon it's mega exciting!
