Impressive! At first I thought he'd been lucky not to bend a valve or eight, but then I saw that post about the B23 being a "non-interference" engine.
That's pretty fast work, and in the rain too!

Superb. Doesn't surprise me though, those engines are the toughest I've experienced. My father drove 200 miles with 4 elderly overweight relatives with a trace amount of oil in the engine. He got it home complaining of slightly sluggish performance, I checked levels and topped it up. The car grateful gulped down the oil and there were no consequences.
I think I'm going to find another 240 estate to replace the Datsun after xmas....
