I'm both. When I enter "Clarkson Mode" though, I usually end up pretty ashamed of myself and think what a total c0ck I've been. Although when driving through London, I think if I was in "Christian Mode" I'd get eaten alive. London driving is a contact sport at times (RLY!).
I try to be in "irie mode" most of the time...

Defo I was tired when i did two jobs in one day in LDN last year, attempting to drive home again in the same day was not wise, thumpin headache and severe tiredness, central London is unforgiving completely, specially without a compass. Bumper car and Red Bull and big muscle bound passenger, or a driver, FTW in LDN

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I won't be there when you cross the road, so always use the Green Cross Code.

TBH, I don't find driving in the middle of london all that grim, especially within the C-charge zone as the volume of traffic has dropped enormously. You just have to pick the right time of day to go. I have to leave either before 6 or after 8 to avoid being crushed in the grimness of the A41 or A1 in the morning. Karma driving definately pays off in that environment though.... Most of the time I go down there at night for work, and that is quite pleasurable actually.

There was just no room for error or forgiveness in London thats all, Northerers may grumble, and rage but at least they stop or let you pull out. I did the right thing anyway, soon as i got North I pulled onto the first stop on the M1 and stayed there the night. best 50odd quid i spent...

i'd say i drive like May, pretty relaxed plus saves on fuel! No such thing as karma in Coventry. Its each man to his own, a bit like a banger racing curcuit. very true i've only been back a week and have already had several neermisses especially on the ring road. I have now resorted to only driving after 12 at night ;D

Depends on mood. It's quite easy to be like JC in the crapi - as everyone cares a lot more about their paintwork than I do about mine.
But when the sun's out, i'm kroozin with arm out the window i'm mr christian imself, like.

It all depends really. I try to chill out & be considerate in my driving, but it's very difficult given the extremely poor standards of driving in London. The amount of idiots who randomly change lane (without indicating) on a large roundabout on my route to work when I am along side them is a joke - even more so since the lanes are clearly marked........ fortunately though, the Amazon has a very load horn.
Whilst I will normally let people out & not play silly buggers in traffic queues or when two lanes drop to one, there are exceptions. I am very intollerant of drivers who try to jump queues (ie driving along a turn right lane & trying to cut into the straight ahead lane at the last minute etc) and also those who try to push in when the road markings clearly show that they should give way -almost always without indicating either.
