Anybody seen them on an actual car? I've just stumbled upon this pic, and I hate to say it but it does look rather good. I wonder what they look like without the centre caps.

yeah, I really want to hate everything about these, but gotta admit on the caddy and the mk2 it doesn't look that bad gotta lose those centrecaps though, they're a little bit horrid imo.

I think the main problem with the caps is that they are too fussy, all wibbly like waves, if that section was smooth into the cap I think they would look better.

they look very like one of the cheap horrible halfords spec tsw or similar wheels, and nothing like slotmags at all.
they actually looks significantly more like an ATS cup than a slot mag.

I wonder what they'd look like sans caps? Secretly I quite like them, okay they aren't really much like slot mags, but they'll work on some stuff like that caddy.

They'd look very good on something bubbley, like a Fiat 500 or one of them little Citroen C1s. Which seems to have been the point of the exercise in the first place.

I don't hate them I just wish they called them something else so they don't keep clogging up my eBay search results.
Yeah, they look more like Cups than slots.
I have yet to see any for real. I reserve opinion on them until then

I don't hate them I just wish they called them something else so they don't keep clogging up my eBay search results. Just check the 'Used' and 'Unspecified' boxes within your search results, which will cut down the 'New' Slots appearing.

He's right, they really do. And they're a wheel I like. I like the look of the new slot mags, but I also wish they'd called them something else like Retro Hubs or something, anything to differentiate them from the classics they're not trying very hard to emulate.

I'm sorry, but I'm unable to associate the name 'Slotmag' with these modern interpretations.
I understand why they look like they do, but they just don't look good with FWD offset

The thing is the wheel place who list 10000 slot mag auctions also list them as "unspecified" quite often.
So you still get 7 pages of the fuggers
They seem to have calmed down a bit on the listing for them now, I think they are listing multiple applications per listing rather than
Slotmag Golf Slotmag Polo Slotmag Passat Slotmag Scirocco Slotmag Fiesta Slotmag Focus
etc
As separate listings
