I have 4x 15x6 bare wheels that are in Gloucester and I would very much like to be in my shed - Anybody able to help?
I have 4x 15x6 bare wheels that need collecting and paying for in Gloucester (GL4). The seller wants cash - so I can paypal you the money beforehand with a couple of drinks on top fer your trouble and you pay the seller on collection.
Thanks Mark

I've no plans to head that way any time soon, but I could pick them up for you and they could either be picked up from me (GL10) at some point in the future or I can take them to Area 52 this play weekend (Sunday) or the Feb. play weekend. How much did they set you back?
I am going to Reading on Saturday (early afternoon) if that's any help with the relay.

Has onward transportation from Area 52 been arranged?

Just heard about this by 'accident'.
Please can people ask me beforehand if they want to bring anything to the unit for dropping off/collection? I am more than happy for things to be brought to the unit but because space is tight I don't have much room to store things at the moment.
A few times recently I've got wind of things being arranged without my knowledge and only by chance found out. I've currently already got a very large set of wheels & tyres that were dropped off a month ago and still haven't been collected....I was unaware of this until they were wheeled into the unit and have been taking up space ever since.
Hardcore is taking the large wheels/tyres away this weekend to pass onto the new owner which leaves him no room to carry any more stuff and Dan has already kindly agreed (in advance) to take some wheels & tyres for me too, so I think the wheels being dropped off on Sunday will end up having to be stored indefinitely until they are collected at a later playweekend.
I would take them to the swap meet myself, but I am already taking at least two sets of other wheels & tyres for people as well as all the items I'm planning on selling at the autojumble, so another set of wheels probably won't fit.
If there is a way of them being taken to the autojumble directly rather than coming via Area 52 then this would help me simply because I haven't got much space at the moment and could really do without them being in the way for the forseeable future.
As said, I am normally more than happy for things to arrive/depart from Area 52 but some communication/advanced knowledge would be very much appreciated just so that I don't end up being burdened with items that just get in the way while trying carry out normal life at the unit.
Many thanks,
Bruce.

Apologies Bruce et al, wasn't aware of the situation at that end- I assumed someone was lined up to take the wheels away with them on Sunday.
I'm more than happy to store them at mine (it'll be in the garden mind) until such a time as things can be collected- if anyone is swinging past mine en route to something else e.g. the autojumble I'm only 5 minutes from M5 J13. Alternatively I could bring them to the Feb. A52 meet for onward transportation immediately afterwards.

Sorry for making the assumption that it would be OK Bruce, and to Hardcore as well - who got a text at about 9pm last night asking for the return trip favour.
Phug - if you could hang on to 'em, for a bit that would be fab - I don't think being outside for a short while will be a problem. I'll have to start laying the foundations for negotiating a trip to Gloucestershire.

Nae worries. If they can go inside they will- I'm sure I can sort somewhere to tuck them in the dry now I think about it (there's a shed I'd forgotten existed).
Have sorted it out with Bruce that they'll stay at mine until there is confirmed transport from the play weekend, unless of course someone can collect from me in the meantime!

Guys, please don't think I was trying to be awkward, I really wasn't. I apologiese if it came across that way? It's just the logistical thing of having items turn up out of the blue for them potentially to be sat around for XYZ amount of time while other things appear along the way.
If Andy had the room to take them back with him this weekend it wouldn't have been so much of a problem, but I really need the wheels & tyres gone that are already there (and they are quite large!) so it's kinda scuppered those plans of moving your wheels Mark (the fact the's driving back in a Fiesta only compounds the issue unfortunately)
I have no problem with the unit being used as a drop off/collection point because it makes perfect sense due to people from all over the country descending on the unit once a month. It's just knowing what's coming in & out...and trying to ensure it doesn't get lumbered there for too long that is becoming the potential issue.
Only the other week I noticed a post in this section asking for a large bumper to be dropped off at Area 52. The first I knew about it was by reading this section about a week after the request had been made. Had it gone ahead, the bumper would still have been at the unit now and more than likely for another few months. I hope this makes sense and I do hope you see where I am coming from?
Fingers crossed something works out for the wheels and apologies again if I came across a bit moaning?

Not at all Sir, I understand completely, especially given you've never even met me and I'm arranging to leave stuff at your (second) home. I'm sure Mark does too!
I think my post ^ comes across a bit "hard done by" which wasn't the intention at all.

Cheers for your patience.

If they can be got to London (e.g. the Dungeon), I'd be able to take them to Mark's

No worries buddy- they ain't doing any harm at mine. Due to an emergency car buying session at the weekend I didn't make A52 anyway sadly.
I've just had a thought- I've got to head to Aldershot in the relatively near future to pick up a car (a Micra as it happens). Could anyone forwards them on to Mark from there? It gets them a lot closer.

Bumpety Bump.
The Aldershot Micra Mission is tomorrow afternoon- short notice I know but anyone about to meet us there/ en route that could get these a bit closer to Mark, or store them until he can come up and collect them?
Running on too tight a schedule to drop them down to Chichester sadly.
No probs hanging on to them a bit longer if not!
