not a "posh" plate man myself. I have mixed views myself - not keen on the badly spaced and read 4 as an A type ie D4YV T = DAVY T But I quite like car related plates It's an 85 GSE so B5 GSE seemed apt black bonnet looks menacing I wondered what people would think but didn't dare put a poll up

Not that shiney - 5mins with some T-Cut and a drop of wax had it right as rain - it was on a car that had been stored under some trees for 5 years and never washed so I was tempted to leave it matt

Have to admit, I quite like quality car-related plates... There is a TR7 'round here with the reg 'TR7' - pretty good I reckon (if it's legit )

Love the plate and I usually hate "personal" plates with a passion. Not sure on the bonnet, looks kinda like you needed a bonnet and got one from the scrappy that almost matches. On a white / red/ whatever car it might look boss, but its too "just dissimilar" to the colour of the body IMO.

I want one of these personal plates. I want 'PWN3D' ROTFLMAO!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D BC, that looks really good, and the plate works as it's appropriate both to the car and it's age / year letter.

So mixed views on both bonnet and plate as expected....... ;D
With the bonnet - it's funny camera shots don't show it as much of a contrast but when you look at it with normal eyes it realy stands out. Alistairk and others will probably be right when they say most people with think dodgy respray or closest one I could find from a scrappy but I'll live wth that and if I don't like it after a while I could put the original back on!!!!
With the plate - the original one B580 UPR wasn't exactly the right one for the car as it was BFO originally so when it came back to the UK it was assigned an age related plate...... The annoying thing was all the windows were etched with the BFO plate - still if I change them to perspex it won't show anymore!!!
Anyway I saw it on the DVLA site 4 years ago and kept coming back to it and thinking I couldn't justify it blah blah blah untill eventually I just thought sod it why not and bought it as a birthday present for my birthday last year!

I think both pate and bonnet look cool. Sounds like the best reasoning behind buying the plate too

No problems with reg numbers related to the car, it's just ones that try to spell peoples names out that I find a bit poncey. I'd love to have something like DAT 180B on my Datsun 180B! Motors looking sweet too... black bonnet is fine IMO ;D

Bonnet looks beautiful, very subtle, with the wheel colour and everything it looks really well thought out. Plate is also very swish, model/make related plates rule. Saw Bag 5 on a Matra Simca Bagheera on eBay recently. Drool.
