I've just checked my tyres for wear etc, and have noticed what appears to be second set of wear indicators (see pic here - they're part of the highlighted yelow band). I hadn't noticed them before as they're relatively central on the tread but now they are not far off being flush with the surface of the tread. However, there's still about 4mm of tread left, and the actual wear indictors (as per the marked positions on the sidewalls) have plenty of tread left above them.
Does anyone know what these other 'indicators' are? They run continuously around the circumference of the tyre, unlike the proper TWIs, which are intermittent.
Thanks!
