I can't see the pics! How much do you want for the doors? I haven't got a use for them but I might one day, if they're cheap and not rotten maybe I'd be interested.

The doors are actually pretty rot free Mr B, although suprise, surprise the electric windows don't work Though I should think the cost of sending four doors to France would be a bit excessive, would you need a tailgate as well, never know when one might come in handy You could create a doors, hall of fame! I think I am going to liberate the Abarth badge and place it somewhere fairly discrete on the Lada ;D

Whereabouts are you in Brum? I could come and pick them up in about 3 weeks time if thats any use to you.
As for the tailgate, I don't think it will fit in Ms_B's astra so i'll have to pass on that one!

Images should be now fixed, have signed up with photbucket instead of box , images are now also a better size Mr B, three weeks would be fine, the car is located at a B23 post-code. I have not had chance to properly check the car over so I will take some decent pictures of the doors and PM them to you so you can see if they are worth having.

I agree, it does look quite decent from here (France). Hey Jammz, what about getting in touch with this guy? search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZrallyman2000QQhtZ-1He's selling a 1600 fiat TC engine and RWD box, cheap too at the moment plus the engine will have the right sump and not be set up (manifold-wise) to be installed at an angle like in the fwd Delta. Surely thats more like what you need for the Lada? PS bosh us a couple of pics of the grotty bits of the delta will ya?

Got to agree with Bollo here - get that 1600 Ex-Mazda LumpAndBox™. £20! you'd pay more than that for the fanimold and gubbins to transplant a transverse mowtah!

when that RX3 was on ebay it was being sold with a suspected dropped valve so "BUY WITH CARE !" Fiat twin cams are very delicate engines and cost a lot to put right ! When you said 1600 ex mazda lump I guessed you meant an MX5 motor at £20 I'd have 10 of those please *grin*

P.S why not tune the lada lump ? bits are fairly rare but not that bad to get hold of as they were popular rally cars in their day

I finally sent you those pics Mr B, the doors on the passenger side are starting to bubble at the bottom, though the drivers side seem okay.
I have got that engine and box in my watch list, I need a Fiat 131 gearbox anyway and the engine should be useful to rob bits of to convert the Delta engine to RWD spec.
I might be making life harder for myself but I know the engine in the Delta is a runner and fairly low mileage which is why I want to use it.
I suppose I could tune the Lada lump Mike but I can't really be bothered to search for rare tuning bits, how much power can you get from a Lada engine?
