Ah well, it will give the 1600Ss more value to the purists!
I liked the Mk3 at the time. The Mk4 was not my cup of tea, but the facelifted MkIV or V as some call it I do like.
Hmmm, a tidy RS1800i...

Could be, they are also very rare in the NL. Perhaps it was more popular in Der Heimat?

An MOT fail more-door has turned up at my local Ford Dealership so I'm going to find out what's on the fail sheet and go from there.

I've only seen pics so far, I think they must have it hidden away from the rows and rows of year old Fords in case it infects them. However, looking at the pics I can see a bit of grot on the sill as well as towards the bottom of the rear arch, hard to tell how bad it is though because it's a dark colour. However it is a Ghia and it looks pretty smart sitting on some XR2i alloys and with some kind of factory option spoiler, so it's definitely worth a gander.

I love teh more doors, my wife had a 1.4 ghia as her first car back in 99, diamond white very nice and a friend at the same time had a 1.6 sport, with only 27k, really nice car but the 1.6 sport got stolen but they got it back with some damage and fixed it up then on a icy road one night it ended up on its roof into a lake, luckily no one was badly hurt but the car was a gonna, and my wife crashed one a few times too, would love a more door on banded steels low with turbo power
