That finesse looks tidy,I had a mk3 F plater popular 950.....proper slowwwwww. mk3's Are getting a bit thin on the ground these...proberly all rotted away, they love to rot !! it was proper mint, it had one scab on the rear arch bout the size of a 50p NO welding underneith and the engine didnt even have the normal tickin, only done 33k, didnt even have car park dings! proper looked after, if i got the chance i would buy it back, but sadly the lad i sold it too sold it to his gf, who didnt know curse word so tried to take the poor little curse word up a hill in 1st and blew its engine, if i had known then, i woulda bought it back, but it was scrapped before i even got the chance

nice to see photos of my fiesta I was planning to fit a 2.0 zetec eventually but unfortunately I needed some money and got fed up of driving around doing takeaway deliveries in a car running coilovers and low profile tyres so shes back to standard now! Although this is a great shame, she's getting a bit ropey as of recent (dents and poor paintwork) so I like to think she donated her wheels and coilovers to a worthy cause. Give it 2 years and you will see loads of modified ones around! I was just ahead of the game have a couple more recent ones of mine when it was sitting on coilovers.

They do look proper !!! I'll have to go look on the net at them I think lol TH Mono's were designed for Mk3 Fez's with bodykits I reckon. Just look so right - albeit google images doesn't seem to be helping me this morning. Get a set and get 'em on your RS sharpish!

I've got the original rims ,they just look small when they're on the car. the rims on there now are kahns or kanh or something. If i got mono id want them to look flush with the arches...so I'm assuming i'd have to get them quite wide ??

The rs1800 wasnt a big seller so was rare when it was new there rare now, especialy good 1s, my wife used to have 1 unfortunatly i could never get it to run properly thanks to the previouse owner been a proper chav and modding it badly and thrashing it so we sold it on, myself and the wife have had several mk3's we love them, i only sold my last 1.6 xr2i because with 2 kids it was a squeeze to get them in and all the bits we needed, i miss it so much, proper fun little cars that can upset alot newer more powerfull cars. my old car

nice 2i....are they mondeo 16's ?...and how wide ?..they look pretty good too . thanks, yep mondeo 16's front were standard but rear were from an estate they were slightly wider, cant remember what they were, i had 195/45 tyres, it was lowered 35mm and was a right pain i wouldnt do it again, they scraped on full lock, hit the arches on speed bumps or bumps in the road. they look soooooooooooo good tho.

I suspect some 7 x 15s with spacers to get them sitting in the arches right is the way to go. Already looking good in my imagination!

Very cool Johnson! I always liked the XR2's and Flights with these wheel trims. They look great there. Remind me of Sparco/O.Z mag rally wheels.
