Today I was in the lucky position to be (very briefly) behind the wheel of a '69 Chevy Camaro, Just like this one. If you ever wonder "what's all the fuss about these things?" get behind the wheel of one. Oh lordy. Its ***good*** All I have to do is find £15K from somewhere and I can have one of my own. Anyone else had a cargasm today?

Anyone else had a cargasm today? I picked up an E34 520i tonight, and came home the backroads. I burnt the clutch out. I'm not sure if that counts though? It's not even close to the same league.

I drove a Marmon Roosvelt and a Riley Gamecock today, both are lovely car when sorted however these were both fresh out of 3 years+ storage and I'd just recommisioned them so they felt dreadfull, I'll put up pics in a mo.. I love gen 1's there's a reason they fetch strong money, genuinely good cars and looks to die for...

I'm tempted to sell all my tat and buy one good car... I don't think all my tat would make £15K though.

I'd love a chance to drive that. Behind the wheel of an Infiniti M30d today, of all things. Not retro, unfortunately, but the view over the bonnet's great and the air-conditioned seats are a nice touch. Radar-guided cruise isn't as good as Volvo's but it's always good to have it ...... Make an epic donor, for all its tech and powertrain, to put in something like a P5B Coupe

Anyone else had a cargasm today? I agree, There was something about driving my old 1st Gen Firechicken. High dash, low seat and narrow windows. Although my Cougar is probably a better car it just doesn't feel the same.

Anyone else had a cargasm today? It's not one of my retro's, but I do drive this pretty much everyday & it does have the DNA of your drive, it too is awesome! Over the last week I have had a cargasm each day, I drove my Delorean from home to Belgium, then down near Caen & have spent the last 7 days discovering all the WW2 beach landing sites etc around the Normandy Coast. As usual the Delorean attracts a bit of attention Outside the cottage we rented for the week

Not retro and I wasnt allowed to drive but was a very excited passenger in a 13 plate bmw m3, can honestly say ive never been in such a "clever" car and my life does it move, and stick like poop to a rug.
I could only compare its performance to motorbikes, reckon id have struggled to stick with it on my old vtr1000..... something like a 4.0 v8 that redlines at 9k and produces 420bhp!
I was more concentrating on the blurry road in front of me than listening to the brother in law reel off the spec but a very impressive "toy" as he calls it and an excellent example of progress....

As much as I love these 60's yank muscle - they all have slippery bench seats that make me think I will have to hold on for dear life whilst I tackle a roundabout - unless I feed my other half Mr. Kipling's back catalogue.
