Blimey Rob, you must be a young chap! Wolfrace (and other brands of 'Slot Mags') were THE wheel in the 70s! Here's a set of 10s on a Mini:

all the slot mags made for minis are not wide enough. well the 10" ones anyway. You may be able to find 13" ones in 4x101mm

If you had no cash you had white 8 spokes, a bit of cash chrome 8 spokes and you knew you had made it when you could have genuine Wolferace slots!
Then when you actually had them you tried everything to keep them shiney!

13in Wolfies (or Cobra Supaslots - much nicer IMHO) are fairly hard to find with the correct 4x4in pcd. Thats what I wanted for Pele (my Imp) to replace her 12in Wolfies... sadly I had to make do with Revolutions... Minis on Wolfies rock. However, I still think that 10in Dunlops (painted black n silver) are just total WINNER on a Mini - my old 67 Min had them.

Agreed...I had 7x14 Cobra Dragslots on my A40 back in the day and they looked ace. It's only the 5.5J Cobras that look a bit pap.

It's OK finding them to suit some cars, but probably very difficult for others - with Datsuns it's easy as Scimitars had them in the same 4-stud PCD, that's what mine were off. Also may 240/260Z's had them back in the 70's. I've still got to get the nuts sorted, about £2 each IIRC from Speedshack, but the wheels were a good price so I didn't mind. Surprised to see how many of the cars Rmad and HoTwWire saw in Japan had slot-mags fitted. Anyone got any of the FWD offset ones they brought out for Golfs and the like? Cobra Supaslots have a more rounded slot shape than Wolfrace, and Cosmic Mk6/Supersix have a raised 'dome' in the centre, as below. All were available as 5x10", but as Slater said doesn;t look like they went wider than that.

This thread is rather coinidental as I was dreaming about slots last night.
Only just discovered the Scimitar stud patern is 4 1/2" and a set of slots might well fit the Oxford once I've got the MGB discs on with some suitable full hub caps over the top or some plain discs fitted over the slots for an earlier look.
