The longer swing arm? Isn't that to stop the front wheel lifting (especially on a hotted-up bike) when doing an emergency start?

Yeah, my guess its a drag bike or summat Edit: or stability at speed.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

hotwire in da house: Whilst we're on the subject,.. whats the deal with this
It's done in a Dragbike look, verry popular in inner-city areas of California & New York, on a Dragbike the swing is stretched to give it a harder launch without the risk of flipping over and it gives a bit of stability down the 1/4 mile. The Dragbike look is growing in Japan and I have even seen a couple here in Sweden but here it's the Stripper look that rules.....

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Ditto on that one, fantastic, I think it's gonna become a catch phrase for me "Sorry officer, I was practising emergency starts," and so forth. Lovin the streetfighter style bikes massively, makes me yearn to get onto 2 wheels again!

penski in da house: know anyone who would give a roof over my head and a bite to eat in exchange for generic shop work/lifting heavy things
That's basicly what I have, working in the Motorcycle Biz over here is overworked and underpayed but since having "dropped out" of the IT-Biz when it was peaking I don't really have a huge overhead and can live the lifestyle that fits me at the moment and 4 years ago I was given the chance of not only owning & building bikes in my sparetime, I was offered to run the shop at Starol Racing and for the first time work with Bikes in a professional way and I could not resist but working 8-10 hours a day, 6 days a week, 52 weeks a year takes a toll on you but it's worth it and I will not change......
