And delivered to my driveway this evening? Yep a certain Audi 90 Quattro has found a new home (thanks to a cracking deal from Cap-cruiser) Bonus was seeing a certain red Merc, and seeing and *hearing* a beautiful sea-going vessel masquerading as a car Incidently, if anybody needs car transport around East Midlands, or possibly further, I can recommend somebody (who also likes cash. As in cash cash)

blimey he didn't hang onto that long! quality motors though, i still hanker after mine (but refuse to bid on it each time it appears on ebay as it's almost as overpriced as when i sold it, muahahahhaa) if you need a rear bumper for it at any point, i've still got a NOS VAG primered one in my loft from when i had my 90Q, swap it for some Stella

Should prob explain... The audi needs some work, not a whole lot, but I don't have the time, with the subaru wedge and the oh so cool (but rusty!) Merc W115 @ chateau cappuccino... Also its "space" in the barn is now taken by my brothers 21st B/day pressie, a 2.1 auto wedge ;D

aaah 90Q's come and go, they're falling in price all the time. Subawedges (wedgaru?) on the other hand are a once in a lifetime thing

I don't know whethe to smarten it up (perhaps even replace missing trim etc), or leave it a bit battlescared (I think the term was 'rally slag'?) inc sorting missing mudguard, finding a cheap light pod etc.

I still miss the noise now ;D

Looks a bit cleaner there than it does now ;D Just had a few minutes to have a bit of a look at it... The dented sill will take some proper fixing I think, but I reckon the rest we tidy up on the cheap/bodge quite nicely Wonder what happened to all the side trim/rubbing strips? Having the head off for the gasket, may as well skim, lap valves, valve stem seals and clean up the ports a bit. 130bhp (@5700rpm) from a 2.2? That's not a lot... wonder what's the restriction? CR500Dom: I you have a few minutes, I would be grateful of any information/history you would care to impart Some of the wiring modifications are a little puzzling EDIT: And those pods look F***ing Fantastic - I presume we are talking hundreds to purchase? Cheers, Phil
